Tom Cruise performs a hair-raising stunt dangling from wire outside the world's tallest building for Mission Impossible 4.Tom Cruise insisted on doing his own stunts when making an action movie. The star is filming at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, which stands 2,717 feet tall, for his new movie.

The stunt is thought to involve Tom Cruise jumping over another actor during a chase around the exterior of the huge building.

The scene was being filmed at the Observation Deck level which is 124 floors high.

The Burj Khalifa is 181 floors high so the scenes were being filmed around two-thirds of the way up.A helicopter just 10 feet from the building was used by the film crew to get close to the action.
